- I am working as a senior software engineer at since May 2008. I am on the RPAS (Retail Predictive Application Server) team. We are developing software used by all the big players in the retail industry for business decision making, such as inventory and pricing.

- I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Carnegie Institution Department of Plant Biology, Stanford,CA. I have initiated the development of PlantCyc, a comprehensive reference database of plant metabolic pathways that will host PGDBs (Pathway Genome Databases) of all sequenced plant species.

- I defended my PhD thesis, Feature Extraction and Similarity-Based Analysis for Proteome and Genome Databases,  in August 2007.

Research interests

- Very Large and High Dimensional Databases and Scientific Data Mining.

- Detection of Structural Sites in Proteins. (Paper published in the prestigious Bioinformatics journal in 2007. Documentation and software download website.)

- Indexing and Approximate Similarity for Bio Sequences and Structures.
